Muscat Container Depot (MCD) is the first and only inland port in the Sultanate of Oman (UN Code: OMMCD). MCD aim to further develop the logistics industry by providing new services to the market. MCD at outskirt of Muscat Governorate and South Batinah Region further reinforce Omani Ports and Borders as eminent gateways to international trade.
As being the first Inland Port with fully approved bonded facilities, MCD is the ideal logistics solution to the shipping lines, freight forwarders and consignees located in and around Muscat, the capital city of Oman.
The Container Freight Station (CFS) at MCD is the ideal logistics solution to the LCL cargo. The CFS services would develop and increase the logistics volume to and from Oman and hence set further growth to Logistics Industry in term of volume, revenue and jobs creation.
Muscat Container Depot is the first ICD complete with customs facilities of its kind in the Sultanate of Oman. MCD is an extension of all Oman’s ports. As being Bonded Facility and well located near Muscat, MCD helps shippers, freight forwarder and consignees to clear and get the goods without having to go all the way to the ports.
